A few weeks ago I had a lovely Jazz gig for Cartier, as the official sponsor of Art Dubai they hosted an intimate dinner. It was a beautiful event. Here are a few pictures from the performance, featuring Stoyan Stoyanov on piano and accordion.

Sun was shining, weather was sweet, vibes were good!
One of the most beautiful Jazz standards, sung by one of my top 5 Jazz singers of all time- the wonderful Sarah Vaughan.
She says sweetly that she doesn’t feel too good as she has a cold… I can’t hear it, can you?!

Captured in 1958 by famous fashion photographer ‘Bert Stern’, the movie captures some of the biggest legends of Jazz, including Theolonius Monk, Mahalia Jackson, Anita O’Day, Louis Armstrong; and it’s one of the rare colour film copies you will see of these legends live!
Mahalia Jackson is just simply….. wow. wow. wow. wow. wow…. phenomenal!
